Treatments & Services
Many different treatment options are available for your specific health concerns. Most don’t involve surgery. This means your procedure will usually be quick and easy to recover from, leaving virtually no scars.
Endovenous Laser Ablation
Also known as VenaCure, this minimally invasive procedure uses a very small laser fiber to seal a varicose vein closed. Then, blood flows around the unhealthy vein, improving overall circulation.
Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation
To remove blood flow to diseased veins, your provider uses a tiny ultrasound device to seal the vein closed. You may feel immediate relief from symptoms such as swelling, twitching, and aching.
Microfoam Chemical Ablation
A doctor injects this special medical foam, called Varithena, into your varicose vein with a needle, sealing it closed. You can likely return to your activities the same day.
Micro-Phlebectomy
If your diseased vein needs to be completely removed, your doctor can create tiny incisions in the skin above your vein and pull some of the vein out of your body. Micro-Phlebectomy is painless (with anesthetic) and doesn’t scar. Your doctor may use it to remove any problematic veins after closure with another procedure.
Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy
This procedure combines ultrasound and sclerotherapy. The ultrasound shows your varicose vein while a doctor injects a special chemical into the unhealthy blood vessel, causing it to collapse and close.
VenaSeal™ Closure System
This medical glue seals up your diseased vein so blood can’t pass through it. Ask your doctor if insurance covers this procedure.
Noninvasive Treatment Options
Our board-certified vein care experts offer noninvasive and conservative treatment options when possible. You may benefit from:
- Compression therapy, such as compression socks
- Exercise counseling
- Recommendations for leg elevation and lifestyle changes
- Wound dressings
