Named a 2024 Washington Post Top Workplace

Adventist HealthCare Named a Top Workplace

Only DC Hospital System Named Two Years Running

2024 Healthcare Industry Top WorkplaceGaithersburg, MD – Adventist HealthCare once again earned a spot on The Washington Post’s list of Top Workplaces 2024 in the Washington, D.C., area as well as on the national industry awards Top Workplaces for Healthcare 2024.

More than 8,800 organizations were invited to participate in the Washington, D.C., region survey, and only 250 were honored across public and private industries, nonprofits and government agencies. Among those recognized, Adventist HealthCare was the only hospital system on the list and one of only 23 organizations that The Post honored in the largest company category.

On the national level, Adventist HealthCare was also named as a Top Workplace within the healthcare industry based on employee feedback on the inclusive and supportive culture, connection between team members, employee development, clear communication and other factors. Fewer than 3% of eligible organizations earn a national Top Workplaces industry designation and among those recognized, Adventist HealthCare was the only hospital system from the D.C. region recognized.

One of the largest employers in Montgomery County, Maryland, Adventist HealthCare has been offering health services to the Washington, D.C., region since 1907.
