About Maranatha Stephany Gabaud
Maranatha Stephany Gabaud, MD, FACC, MPH, is a non-invasive attending cardiologist with Adventist Medical Group. She serves as Medical Director for Heart Failure Services at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center.
In addition to treating patients with heart failure, arrhythmia, coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease, Dr. Gabaud has special expertise in treating patients with cancer and heart disease (cardio-oncology) and special interest in providing care to women with cardiac disease who are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant (cardio-obstetrics).
Dr. Gabaud treats each patient like family, deserving of the most innovative and advanced treatments. She works collaboratively with other members of the clinical team to develop treatment plans that will deliver the best health outcomes for the patients in hopes that they can return to their daily lives, their families and their communities.
Dr. Gabaud received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at New York University School of Medicine and cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital/MedStar Washington Hospital Center where she served as Chief Fellow. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on health policy. Dr. Gabaud is fluent in French and Haitian Creole.
