About Zahide Erkmen
Zahide Erkmen, MD, is a breast imaging radiologist with Adventist HealthCare Imaging. Her philosophy of care is to provide excellence, compassion and respect for all and to treat her patients as if they were her family members.
Dr. Erkmen earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her internship in surgery at Georgetown University Hospital, her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Connecticut and her fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at George Washington University Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Erkmen has been featured as a top doctor for many years in Washingtonian Magazine and in the Washington Consumer Checkbook.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, being outdoors, running, swimming, playing golf and scuba diving. She is also an avid reader.
