About Richard Samuel
Richard Samuel, MD, is a primary care doctor with Adventist Medical Group. Prior to joining Adventist HealthCare, he worked at other urgent care centers in Maryland and Virginia. He was recognized as Physician of the Year for INOVA Emergency Care.
Dr. Samuel earned his medical degree and completed his internship at Christian Medical College. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Episcopal Hospital, where he specialized in internal medicine and was named chief resident. He is certified by the American Board of Urgent Care Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine, American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Virginia Medical Society and the Maryland State Medical Society. Dr. Samuel is fluent in Hindi and Tamil, and enjoys gardening and traveling in his spare time.
