About Nikki Tirada
Nikki Tirada, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist and the Director of Women’s Imaging at Adventist HealthCare. She earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, completed her residency at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, and pursued a fellowship in Women’s Imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
Before assuming her current position, Dr. Tirada was the Section Chief of Breast Imaging at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Her extensive research has led to numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is a dedicated mentor to medical students, residents, and fellows, and an advocate for early breast cancer detection and advancing women’s health.
