About Ravi Ajmera

Ravi Ajmera, MD, is a board-certified infectious disease physician with Adventist Medical Group. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California at San Diego Medical School in La Jolla, CA. Dr. Ajmera completed two internal medicine residencies at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center, and a fellowship in infectious disease at George Washington University Medical Center.

Prior to joining Adventist Medical Group, Dr. Ajmera served as medical and infectious disease director for CCI Community Clinic in Maryland. In addition to being on staff at Inova Fairfax Hospital as an infectious disease consultant, Dr. Ajmera also previously worked as a staff physician for the Whitman Walker Clinic in Washington, DC.

Dr. Ajmera has been featured in multiple publications and is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America. He treats a wide range of infectious diseases, including HIV, TB and Hepatitis C.
