About Helma Parikh
Ms. Parikh joined Cardiac Associates in 2018 after seven years with a large hospital system in Washington, D.C. She obtained her Master of Science from University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2010 and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner. Prior to that she attended University of Maryland School of Nursing for her Bachelor of Science and worked at Johns Hopkins Medical Intensive Care Unit for five years. Before attending nursing school she attended University of Maryland and received a Bachelor of Science in Health Education. Her professional interests include preventative cardiology, women and heart disease and heart failure.
