About Elnaz Balakhanlou
Ellie Balakhanlou, MD, is a physiatrist at Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation. She received her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College and completed her residency at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College.
At Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation, Dr. Balakhanlou provides care for patients in the hospital as well as outpatient care, including patients with musculoskeletal/sports medicine conditions as well as those needing general rehabilitation. She also incorporates both integrative and lifestyle medicine for patient care.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time hiking, biking and exploring new biking trails. When at home she likes to cook and take care of her house plants.
