About Alex Wurm
Alex Wurm, MD, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Adventist HealthCare Imaging. Dr. Wurm has been practicing interventional and diagnostic radiology for over 10 years and has a special interest in emergency radiology and noninvasive vascular imaging.
Dr. Wurm earned his degree from the University of Virginia and completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He also completed a fellowship in Clinical Interventional Radiology at the University of California San Diego.
Prior to joining Adventist HealthCare, Dr. Wurm previously worked as an interventional and diagnostic radiologist for Mid Atlantic Radiology in Clinton, MD, Shady Grove Radiology in Germantown, MD and Associated Radiology in Hagerstown, MD. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and going mountain biking, hiking and skiing.
