About Jordan Caplan
Dr. Caplan is a Pediatric and Adult Radiologist who has been practicing in Maryland since 2012. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada and completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Caplan then pursued a Pediatric Radiology fellowship at Stanford University’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, California. He has a subspecialty certification in Pediatric Radiology from the American Board of Radiology and a board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
Dr. Caplan believes that a Pediatric Radiologist has a double responsibility - to the child and also to his or her parents. Helping a sick child recover and thrive is the most rewarding part of his career.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering for the Texas Longhorns and practicing Wing Chun Kung Fu.
