About Nisha Patel
Dr. Nisha Patel joined Adventist Medical Group in March 2014 as the new director of the brain injury program at Adventist HealthCare Rehabiliation, an acute rehabilitation facility specializing in traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, and neurological disorders. She completed her residency in rehabilitation medicine at Hofstra North-Shore Long Island Jewish School of Medicine in Great Neck, New York. Dr. Patel also completed a fellowship in traumatic brain injury at Carolinas Rehab in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. Patel belongs to several professional societies including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has contributed to several publications regarding traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Patel cares for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient programs at Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation.
