Nurse Residency

The Nurse Residency Program at Adventist HealthCare uses an evidence-based curriculum administered by Vizient™ and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)™. Our program supports the development of new graduate nurses both professionally and personally. Qualifications

- • Graduation from an accredited ASN, BSN, or MSN entry-level program within the previous six months is required
- • Senior practicum in area of specialty is preferred
- • Licensed as an RN in the state of Maryland (or other compact state) prior to the start of the Residency Program Cohort is required
- • GPA: 2.75 or higher
- • If you have practiced as a nurse for more than 6 months you are not eligible to apply
