Meeting Schedule
Our Amputee Support Group meets the last Thursday of each month from 4:30-6:30pm.
Our amputee support group focuses on the emotions and challenges of living life as an amputee. It is the groups focus to be positive, creative and resourceful in examining an amputee's experiences.
Who Should Attend?
All levels of amputees are encouraged to attend as well as family, friends and caregivers.
Topics Discussed
Many topics are discussed each session, including:
- Prosthetic development
- Therapeutic devices and training
- Emotional counseling and support
