About Lindsey Prescher
Lindsey Prescher, DO, is a cardiac surgeon with Adventist Medical Group at White Oak Medical Center.
Dr. Prescher earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego where she also held the position Chief Resident of General Surgery. During residency she spent time dedicated to humanitarian missions aboard the USNS Mercy TAH-19 during Pacific Partnership 2012. Following residency, Dr. Prescher completed her fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery and an additional year in advanced structural heart disease at Yale New Haven Hospital.
She has presented and published on several research topics and is also a member of professional organizations including American Osteopathic Association, American College of Surgeons and Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Dr. Prescher currently sits on the Yale TAVR ACC Certification Steering Committee.
Dr. Prescher comes to us from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center where she is the Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery. She has also served as an Assistant Professor in Surgery as well as a Clinical Instructor in Surgery at Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences and Yale University Medical School.
Dr. Prescher is deeply committed to multidisciplinary cardiac care which provides patients with excellent clinical outcomes and directly contributes to the highest quality patient care.
