About Bobby David
Bobby S. David, MD, FACS is board-certified in General Surgery and received his undergraduate degree from Arkansas State University and his Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his surgical residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. David has subspecialty qualifications that include minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He is credited with performing the first Single Site Robotic gallbladder surgery in Montgomery County, MD.
Dr. David performs robotic and laparoscopic surgery on the colon, distal pancreas, spleen, stomach and adrenal glands for benign and neoplastic disease. He performs laparoscopic hernia repairs. He routinely performs surgery for benign and malignant disease of the breast, thyroid and parathyroids.
Dr. David is a Washingtonian and Washington Post Magazine "Top Doctor." Dr. David is currently the Chairman, Division of General Surgery at White Oak Medical Center.
Dr. David takes great pride in training surgical residents and teaching medical students the full spectra of general surgery.
