Laboratory/Diagnostic Services

The Shady Grove Adventist Hospital’s Laboratory offers a wide-range of testing, as well as a full-service histology and pathology lab for our patients and outpatients. Our team of certified medical technicians, phlebotomists and board-certified pathologists are available for your testing needs.

Shady Grove Adventist Hospital’s Outpatient Diagnostic Services is located adjacent to the hospital at 9715 Medical Center Drive, Suite 102. Outpatient Diagnostic Services, which includes outpatient lab work and pre-operative testing is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm, except on holidays. Outpatient lab work and testing may also be done in the hospital from 6:00pm-9:00pm. on weekdays and from 7:00am-7:00pm on weekends.

Appointments

Appointments are needed for the following tests:

• Glucose tolerance
• Sweat test
• Leukocyte Alkaline Phosphatase (LAP)
• Rhogam and Rhogam injections
