The Hospital Enhancement Campaign
Welcome to the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Expansion Campaign website. Since Shady Grove Adventist Hospital first opened its doors in 1979, our county’s population has soared from 579,000 to 892,000 in 2003. By 2020, the county’s population will exceed 1,050,000.
To keep pace with the health care needs of a dynamic community, expansion is needed in three key areas:
- Maternity & Pediatric Services
- Emergency Services
- Surgical Services
The expansion will provide for many additional private rooms, additional pediatric beds and additional State–of-the-Art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit bassinets to meet the growing demands on the Hospital.
