Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland is the first and only acute rehabilitation hospital in Montgomery County. It offers comprehensive rehabilitation programs for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputations, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, sports related injuries, work-related injuries, cardiopulmonary conditions and neurological disorders.

Adventist Rehab has two locations: a freestanding 55-bed hospital next to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, and a 22-bed hospital located on the fifth floor of Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park. Adventist Rehab also operates an outpatient department at the hospital in Rockville and outpatient centers in Silver Spring and Derwood.

Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland is part of a network of health care facilities owned by Adventist HealthCare. The Adventist HealthCare system includes hospitals, home health agencies, nursing centers and other health care services. Based in Rockville, Maryland, Adventist HealthCare employs more than 7,000 people and treats well over 200,000 patients each year among its various entities and services.
